Design is a form of storytelling, a way to connect people to place and memory to material. At its best, it evokes emotion, sparks curiosity, and invites us to imagine something greater. For Taylor, this belief, rooted in clarity, context, and craft, guides every project.

As co-founder of line design, he leads a practice focused on thoughtful architecture and lasting impact. His work spans adaptive reuse and ground-up development, including the transformation of historic structures into vibrant mixed-use destinations and the planning of large-scale communities that combine hospitality, residential, and commercial space. Whether it’s a boutique hotel or a new urban neighborhood, his approach emphasizes permanence, purpose, and place.

More than just buildings, his projects are designed to create meaningful connections—between people, across time, and within the fabric of the city. He fosters a studio culture rooted in curiosity, mentorship, and collaboration. Taylor contributes to the larger dialogue around urban design through active involvement with organizations like Urban Land Institute and Downtown Dallas Inc.

In partnership with longtime collaborator Adam Jones, Taylor continues to shape a design practice that values empathy over ego, and creates spaces that feel grounded, responsive, and built to endure.
